Position Available - Physiotherapist

Bump Physio & Pilates is the only physiotherapy practice in the Sutherland Shire and surrounding areas that is purely designed for pregnant and post-natal women. We currently offer over 20 pilates classes each week, as well as musculo-skeletal physiotherapy, pelvic floor physiotherapy and massage, and are looking to expand both our range of services and team as we enter 2024.

So, what exactly are we looking for? Well, we are open to what you have to offer!

Have you gained a few years’ experience in a hospital or private practice and are now looking to narrow down and specialise in this field?

Perhaps you’re looking for a role closer to home or wanting to pick up a few extra hours outside of your other job?

Maybe you’re a mum looking to re-enter the workforce after taking some time off to raise your kids, or currently practicing but looking for a more flexible role that helps you manage that work / mum life balance. We get it, we’re mums too!

It’s hard to put into words exactly what we’re looking for – but we know that whoever joins our team will be friendly, outgoing, a good listener and a great communicator. Someone who is keen to be part of a team of women who want to help other women during pregnancy and early motherhood, to create an empowering community and safe space where women can come to exercise, get stronger and look after their aches and pains (and have fun at the same time!).

Some of the things you’ll definitely need though:

  • Current AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance (or be willing to get)

  • Experience teaching group mat pilates classes

  • The ability to work evenings and / or Saturday mornings

We are looking to recruit someone on a part-time basis, starting with teaching 4-5 pilates classes over 2 sessions each week. There would then be the ability to increase hours and duties, including musculoskeletal and / or women’s health physiotherapy, as appropriate. We pay above award wages, and remuneration will be based on experience and the services you can help us offer our incredible patients.

If you are interested in working with our awesome team at Bump Physio, we’d love to see your CV, but more importantly, we’d appreciate a little letter (max 2 pages) telling us about yourself and outlining why you might be the person we are looking for!

For any questions or to send us your CV and Cover Letter, please reach out to nicole@bumpphysio.com.au
