Physiotherapy for Pregnancy Aches and Pains

We all know pregnancy can certainly take its toll on our bodies! Bump Physio offers specialised pregnancy physiotherapy to treat a variety of conditions common in pregnancy (such as sacro-iliac joint (SIJ) pain, pubic symphysis pain and back pain).

During your initial physio appointment, our qualified physiotherapists will undertake a thorough assessment to gain as much information as possible. We will ask you questions about your pain and other symptoms to get a better understanding of your condition and how it is affecting you. Your treatment will consist of hands on physiotherapy, as well as advice for helping to manage your pain at home in between treatments. We will often give you some simple exercises or stretches to do, and offer suggestions on how you can modify activities or positions to help make things more comfortable for you!

Our physiotherapists can also offer additional services, such as massage and acupuncture, as part of your treatment. This is why it is best to call us when booking your initial physiotherapy appointment - that way we can pair you with the physiotherapist best suited to treating your specific ache or pain.
